Envisioning Progress: Trade Fair2024- Viksit Bharat@2047
Heyaaaa, dosto! I hope you all are well. I understand your eagerness to learn about a new location, but this blog differs from others.
Recently, the capital of India, Delhi, held the India International Trade Fair 2024 at Pragati Maidan. It is a massive fair arranged every year between November 14-27. I crafted this tour to authenticate one of the biggest fairs for trading, cultural interaction, and traditional businesses and showcase India's inventions in multiple fields. So, sit comfortably and experience my new composition.
You would listen once or read somewhere that India is growing. This year, the theme of the Indian International Trade Fair 2024 was Viksit Bharat @2047.
A few months ago, PM Narendra Modi announced that India had become the fifth-highest GDP Nation and was continuously growing. The prime minister of India had a pledge that in the next five years, under the central government of India, the country will experience the consummation of GDP growth and become the third highest GDP in the world.
The vision of PM Narendra Modi is to make India a developed country till 2047. To accomplish the vision, he launched Viksit Bharat 2047 and invited every citizen to contribute to this evolution. The pavilion of Viksit Bharat also focuses on the National creators, actions during COVID-19(app, medicine and precaution), digital payments, etc.
A massive transformation is waiting for Indian history.
The Trade Fair of Delhi is held every year in November on identical dates. The immense crowd gathers to interact with local traders, businesses, and new inventions of India. Also, this fair entices many International investors, so after analysing every parameter, this theme is selected to show Atmanirbhar Bharat.
With the theme of Viksit Bharat, every state and union territory can display their development and future visions using modern technologies and traditional methods. This platform ensures that nothing will be hidden from investors in development.
I visited the biggest Fair of inventions and evolution on the last day, which is November 27. The Fair begins every year on November 14, and the first four days are business days. The following days of November are open to the general public. To justify the magnificence of this fair, a tremendous location- the enormous complex of Pragati Maidan, which is 105 acres, is chosen. Recently, the 43rd India International Trade Fair was held there.
Many other essential events are held in Pragati Maidan, such as Auto Expo, World Book Fair, and AAHAR. That also gathers a giant flock.
The nearest metro stations are the Supreme Court metro station and Mandi House. Visitors can choose any conveyance, either personal vehicle or public transport.
I entered the premises with my digital ticket. Tickets were available on both modes, online and offline. Anyone can effortlessly buy it on different online platforms like the Bharat Mandapam App, the official site of ITPO, the DMRC website, etc. For offline facilities, visitors can choose any metro station in Delhi.
The ticket price For business days is Rs 500 for adults, and for children, it is Rs 150-200. The prices also depend on which day you are visiting.
The price of public days is cheap and goes up to Rs 150 maximum.
I entered the Pragati Maidan at noon. That was Punjab day. The tourist minister of Punjab, Tarunpreet Singh, also visited. The chief minister of Himachal Pradesh, Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, also came.
Jagran News reported a large crowd and tremendous sales on the last day.
I saw two gigantic pavilions that held different states, territories and ministries in India. Every state and territory showed their traditional apparel, cuisines, artworks, and development under sectors such as medical, education, employment, agriculture, automation, etc. and schemes under the mission of Viksit Bharat. Ministries also exhibit their growth and perspective for forthcoming plans.
India has twenty-eight states and nine union territories, and I visited every pavilion. It is problematic to conclude everyone, so I am briefing one state and one ministry.
Pavilion of Tamil Nadu
I visited Tamil Nadu. It is a state in South India. Tamil Nadu focused on traditional things(clothes, toys, artworks, paintings, statues, etc.), education, agriculture, automobiles, technology, employment and archaeology. Their primary focus was Keeladi Excavation and The Kalaignar Centenary Bus Terminus (KCBT) Facilities, Kilambakkam.
Keeladi excavation is a Sangam period site, where excavation is performed by the Archaeological Survey of India and the Tamil Nadu State Department of Archaeology.
On the other hand, Kalaignar Centenary Bus Terminus (KCBT) Facilities, Kilambakkam, have parking(bus, car and two-wheelers), Passenger conveyance(waiting area, Mom's room, Doctor's place, Hospital, cloakroom, ticket counters, Bagspace, and ATMs), accommodation, restaurants, retail stores, security(CCTVs, guards, police, etc) and electrical infrastructure.
Tamil Nadu had impressively shown its path of Viksit Bharat @2047. Their infrastructure generates employment, uses technology, and provides facilities to spend a comfy life.
Pavilion of the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance
I next turned towards the ministries, and one of the epics was the Department of Revenue and Ministry of Finance, Government of India. It focused on e-services, digital India, GST network, revenue generated by different fields and their impacts, awareness of fraudulent calls, etc.
Through this pavilion, the government of India tried to clear their mission to the citizens. They are on a mission to make the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO)- an organisation that represents the values and industries of India.
It was a great experience to experience the growing India.
Pavilion of Share Market
I also visited the Share Market of India pavilion. It welcomed me with a bull. There are two terms in the share market- bull market and bear market. A bull market is a condition where prices are rising, and in a bear market, they are declining.
According to the Renters poll, in 2024, people will experience a prominent expansion in the Indian economy.
The pavilion of the Indian Share market was well-organised. It showed their contribution on the path of Viksit Bharat @2047. The share market showed data on investors and set new high parameters for India. After visiting this world, I gained a clearer understanding of the potential impact of this market.
When visiting the different pavilions, my eyes met with the Kid zone. Many kids were playing joyfully. That cherished me and revived my inner kid.
If you are planning to go with your family, this spot is perfect. It entertains your kids. The kid zone comprises many games that help to develop the kid's logical and creative thinking. The place was full of remembrance. It takes you to your childhood and refreshes every memory.
Also, a stage is established in the middle of the trade fair. It is for performing classical and folk dancing like Bharatnatyam, kathak, Kucchipudi, Odissi, Manipuri, Sattriya, etc.
India is a diverse nation where each state has traditions. This stage is open to all. Every state shows their traditional songs and dancing performances by professional artists. These traditions are the roots of India and make a strong foundation. They teach us to accept everyone's faith and colours with love and kindness.
Then, I looked forward to some snacks. The beauty of this platform is it provides you with the taste of every state and union territory. Many stalls were installed at the Trade fair, and every state established their stall. It is up to the visitors what meal they want to eat. Thousands of variety of food were available. Visitors can taste chole bhature, idli-dosa, pav-bhaji, litthi-choka, khandvi-dhokla, or anything they wish.
Several stalls, including pizzas, burgers, and momos, are also on the list. It was a brilliant ground experience for me. This trip was not just a voyage, it was a medium to connect me more to my country.
Every colour that I saw there was made in India. I felt prouder to be a part of that event. I learned a lot from this platform. I came closer to my nation. I met the developing India and also pledged to become a part of Viksit Bharat @2047.
The India International Trade Fair is closed now, but try to visit next year. If you are enthusiastic to discover new things about your country, the trade fair is the right place.
Now, it is time to leave and explore a new place. I tried to assure you of next year's trip to Delhi's India International Trade Fair. I hope I worked well. Also, if you are interested in reading religious blogs, you may visit my site to meet religious locations like Chhatarpur temple.
Now, I'll be back with new learnings. Until then, enjoy your learning.
Also thought of the day,
